The US renewables market is currently extremely buoyant and continues to see double-digit growth YoY. Navitas US permanent team is supporting a Utility Scale Developer which is building out their Structured Finance division. Currently sitting at a team of 5 they have an immediate need for an Associate and two Analysts. This company develop, construct, finance, and operate projects >200MW across the US and have over 12GW in operations globally.
This position is 100% Remote so will suit candidates who enjoy working autonomously with the freedom to structure their day and who enjoy working in a business that is results driven. Whilst no day will be the same typical responsibilities include:
- Take the lead on complex financial modeling for renewable projects
- Raise tax equity, equity, and debt
- Be the deal lead in raising project finance. Preparing materials & diligence processes.
- Working with legal to complete M&A and financing documents.
- Complete presentations to the investment committee and allocate appropriate risk, terms, and conditions of various project contracts, and provide general structuring advice
- Have full oversight on improving transaction execution.
Our client is seeking candidates with 4 years + postgraduate structured finance experience who enjoys working autonomously and have experience in structured complex financial transactions >100m. Renewable project experience is essential however this doesn't need to be with a developer, IPP, or Utility. Investment banking or banking experience is desired.
